Motorola ROKR E8

This handset was announced by the Motorola Company in 2007, September and launched in 2008, April. It is designed as a smart phone. Its size is 115 x 53 x 10.6 mm, 60 cc and its weight is 100g. It has colored display supports TFT, 256K colors and graphical area of its display is 320 x 240 pixels, 2.0 inches. Mode Shift morphing keypad and navigation scroll wheel are important features of its display. This handset supports by GSM 850/900/1800/1900 network.

In sound features it offers MP3, AAC and downloadable polyphonic ringtones. It allows the users to set the vibration alert as well as ringtones. Speakerphones facility with 3.5 mm jack is also available in this handset. As concerned its memory status it provides the users with enough space in phonebook along with photo call service. It can save the call record of last 50 dialed, missed and received calls.  Its user memory is 2 GB. It also has the facility of memory card. Internet features are also available in this handset. Its browsing is WAP 2.0/XHTML, HTML (Opera mini).

In data and connectivity features it provides good services. GPRS of this handset is Class 12 (4+1/3+2/2+3/1+4 slots), 32 – 48 kbps while EDGE is Class 12. Its Bluetooth and USB are v2.0 with A2DP and v2.0 respectively. It provides the users with impressive multimedia features as its primary camera is 2 MP, 1600×1200 pixels and it also provides video features of strong capacity. Games of different types are also included in its entertaining features. It was introduced in dark navy and platinum color.

Messaging features are very important for the people. This handset provides the people with a number of messaging features. It allows the users to use the facilities of SMS, MMS, EMS, and E-mails on it. Instant messaging is also one of its messaging features. Stereo FM radio also exits in this handset for the convenience of users. It has MP3 player as well as Java application for downloading different games. The stand-by time of its battery is up to 300 hours while talk-time is up to 5 hours.
